[...] Eric Warner, Flying Dog’s “Lead Dog” wrote a great blog entry today about Earth Day, and how people should celebrate the Earth every day by making some simple lifestyle changes. Instead of taking the bus to work one day a year, people can affect change in simple ways. Here’s something I’ve changed in my life’s routine to help out this place we call home: [...]

Klevur1:

You can see our website and the various environmental groups who have endorsed our mission. You can see that we started this far before it was popular, back in 1990. We help our restaurants make the changes, so we know that they are actually done. Feel free to explore who we are and our work at www.dinegreen.com

I sure hope these people representing the "GRA" have got integrity behind what they're pushing. Sounds like a decent plan, but will they follow through with these claimed intentions exactly? They deserve to be thrown to the wolves if they're only in it to make an unhonest dollar.

I really enjoy your writing. These paragraphs were even more informing than I presumed. I think I will be NOT drinking Blue Moon much anymore, if at all, after learning who makes it.. afterall, there're plenty of brews out there that topple over all that comes from the mass selling giants of the beer industry. Why add to their nest egg of millions of dollars? Why settle for less? I suppose you could drink a mediocre beer.. if you're a mediocre person. There's not much more to be said about this other than "Good people drink good beer." -Hunter S. Thompson

salute/cheers!

[...] Anyhow, Chris challenged me to come clean on the alleged censorship of his last email, but before I address that, I believe a little background info is in order. Chris Rippe would like you to believe that he is a dutiful and faithful employee of Flying Dog Brewery, but in reality, HE is a greedy, power hungry schemer who will stop at nothing to wrest control of the leadership of Flying Dog Brewery from me and the rest of our highly skilled management team. From his attempt to get me to die of a heart attack by running the Beer Drinker’s Marathon, to his reign of tyranny during the failed one-day experiment called ‘Rippe is President for a Day,’ to his repeated attempts to court and subsequently wed Richard McIntyre’s daughter as a way of inheriting control of the brewery and finally, this latest attempt at a bloodless coup by enlisting the ranks of the Republic it has become clear that the truth must be exposed about Mr. Rippe.
Eric:

As a followup to your email about my speech, I'd like to clarify that the director of communications for the National Restaurant Show later apologized on behalf of the National Restaurant Association for the comments of the woman in the audience. He said that she does not respresent the position of the National Restaurant Assocation and that they value the work of the Green Restaurant Association and that we have our Green Restaurant Products Pavilion at their show.

Sincerely,
Michael Oshman
GRA President
